I can't fathom this book out anymore. After a reasonable start the rough direction and purpose of the series has gradually drifted away into multiple muddled plotlines with various characters wandering in and out of them seemingly at random and for no real reason.
The targeting of Namor, now the appearance of Black Bolt - these things suggest the Squadron might be out to hunt The Illuminati of whom these two were members, but then the reasons for so decisively dealing with Namor seem not to apply to the rest of the group he was involved with. So one rule for the Prince of Atlantis and one for everyone else involved in the incursions which ended the Squadron members respective earths it seems.

With such a lack of clear purpose and direction I do not see this book lasting much longer. Which is a great shame as frankly with his Fantastic Four and All-New Invaders work James Robinson showed he was a much better writer and plotter than this current effort.

It is weird that Doctor Spetrum is painted as villain here. The other members of the Illuminati might not have pushed the button like Namor himself did, but they enabled him by killing Doc Spectrum's teammembers. A fact which strangely no one seems worthy of mentioning anymore.
