I dug her back when she was first introduced in the Avengers. The whole mystery of her origin, her aloof femme fatale demeanor, and the unfolding revelations of the Celestial Madonna saga really intrigued me.

However, the stories really seem to be a product of the 70's and don't really hold up now. She now reads as stereotypically racist in concept. I think Swamp Thing did it better with the whole marriage of a human female and "The Green" thing.

Still, I think the character still has so much potential if appropriately updated. I'd love to see her return but it would have to be at the hands of a very capable writer.

I now think her best moments after The Avengers was in the SIlver Surfer ( under her creator Englehart) and again in Keith Giffen's Starlord mini series, which introduced her to the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I say bring her her back
