I think I've stumbled onto a place in the 370s of Avengers where the issues can't possibly work in the order they were published in, and it all revolves around Vision, Gatherers Swordsman, Magdalene & Deathcry in a quinjet flight that takes 6 issues.

Bear with me:

Issue 372: Vision, Swordsman, Magdalene & Deathcry go check out a faulty Avengers tracking station near Scotland. In-story, it's to give Deathcry & the former Gatherers some familiarity with the Avengers operations. IRL, I suspect it's because Harras didn't want to deal with Swordsman & Magdalene's connections to Proctor in his big Gatherers saga wrap up.

Also in this issue, Gatherers attack Sersi & Black Knight, and cops show up to arrest Sersi.

Issue 373: Vision & company still flying. Sersi blows up Avengers Mansion, runs away. Sersi & Black Knight vs. Avengers.

Issue 374: Vision & co still flying to Avengers tracking station. Proctor kidnaps Sersi. Avengers & Eternals regroup, prove Sersi didn't kill any cops.

Issue 375: Big final fight between Avengers and Proctor/Gatherers. Sersi & Black Knight go to a pocket dimension where Sersi won't go crazy anymore. Vision, etc. are still flying to Scotland.

This is all still plausable, I suppose. Quinjets, like all super-hero transportation, travel at the speed of plot, and it's really just a couple of fights that Vision's crew missed. Where it gets sticky is the fill-in issues that happen right after.

376 is a solo Crystal story and 377 is a solo Quicksilver story. In issue 378, Vision & company FINALLY make it to Scotland. We see the other Avengers back home throughout the two-part story, and it's clearly post-Proctor/Gatherers.

378/379 HAVE to come before the Crystal & Quicksilver fill-ins (376 & 377), right? RIGHT?!?!?

378 says it's been 27 hours since the trouble at the tracking station started. Sure, it means a lot happened for the rest of the team (372-377), but honestly, it fits. It just took the Quinjet team a long time to get there. Note the horrible weather.

372-375 happened over many hours.
376 is just Crystal looking out of a window overnight as she thinks about something that happened in the recent past (flashback).
377 is just Pietro out for a stroll.

City of Heroes is BACK!
