Reply Subj: Batman: Year One is NOT The Best Batman Story.

Does anyone agree with me that Batman: Year One is a little bit overrated. I do think it's pretty good, and I really like the (Jim) Gordon parts, but I don't really see why people hold this storyline as the best or second best Batman story. It did have really good art. Maybe I'll re-read it again, but I think the Long Halloween was better.

Are a number of the revisions of Two-Face's origin. WHile the idea that Gilda was a would-be mother gonje mad is all new, much of Harvey's descent into madness and characters like Adrian Fields, his corrupt ADA, were actually established years earlier when Andy Helfer and Chris Sprouse wrote TTwo-Face's Post-COIE, Year One-friendly origin in Batman Annual #14.
