But, according to wikipedia's entry on the Batsuit: The gauntlets from this costume are now being used by Kate Spencer, the current Manhunter, who obtained them from a LAPD evidence room. They had been used by a small-time crook who unsuccessfully robbed the safe of a Gotham lawyer who keeps information on all his supervillain clients' loot. So, I guess someone got that suit out of the Batcave and started selling off the pieces. I betcha someone could do a good story about an underworld auction for this Batsuit...
