I'm very curious to see how my fellow Bat fans feel about this episode. I've watched this episode several times already, with different personal opinions each time. I love the reference to the opening of "On Leather Wings"(as well as all the OTHER continuity references!)at the end(provides a sense of coming full circle/closure) second only to seeing Andrea Beaumont again. Do you:

A. Love this episode, and consider it part of the overall canon for the DC Animated Universe(especially the "Grey Ghost" reference), or

B. Are you disturbed by it, and consider it a questionable "What If...?" story?

C. Any combination of the above?

D. Other thoughts I haven't mentioned.

My only real problem with the episode is the secretive manipulation of Warren McGinnis. It seems to me that some reincarnation was used here too, since Waller was looking for people who had near-identical/identical profiles as Bruce's parents.

Pretty much that.

Why would I think that? It's by the same creators, the same continuity and clearly is an extension of the BB storyline as envisaged by the creative team.

Why reincarnation? It's not like it's that complex a social dynamic; The Waynes and the McGinnis' were both comfortably off professional couples in Gotham.

The only thing that might have benefited (and I'd appreciate there was no time) would have been to examine the state of Matt, Terry's little brother and also part of the Waller-generated Bat-spawn project. Would he become a new Robin? Nightwing?
