"Joker's Five-Way Revenge" WASN'T the return of the "Killer" Joker to the comics! It was ACTUALLY not even a Batman comic that this version of the Joker returned!
It was in, of all places, World's Finest #177! Joker didn't actually KILL anyone in that issue, but it wasn't for lack of trying. He shot Robin with a pistol, and used his lethal laughing gas in a duel against Lex Luthor!
