I've been reading here and there that Warner Brothers will release the 1978 Batman cartoon (starring Adam West and Burt Ward) on DVD this summer, along with the 1966 Bud Collyer "New Adventures of Superman." Both of these shows were produced by Filmation, which had been releasing more and more of their old shows on DVD in the last couple of years.

I can't wait to see this on DVD. Now, if they would only release their "Tarzan" series on DVD, my life would be complete!

They really only made about two good animation shows in all, and their Batman series was certainly not one of them.
