Does anyone else think that this storyline is going to conclude with the death of Damian and Talia. Notice Talia is featured in just about every solicit EXCLUDING the conclusion in December's Detective. All the other characters are mentioned besides her. Ergo she is know longer around by the time we reach the conclusion of the storyline.

And Damian because it seem's like by that point he is going to be in conflict with Ra's and fighting with Batman and crew. But what could possibly be left for him after this story. I cant see the writers moving him into Wayne Manor.

Nope. At least I really, really hope not.

Not an "ergo" a "perhaps" at best. Injured, withdrawing from the scenario (Declaring neutrality due to the inner conflict), busy elsewhere.

Ra's and Talia without each other are much, much duller as repeated efforts have shown.

Batman loves Talia but hates what her father represents. Talia loves Batman, but is bound by powerful love for and loyalty to her father. Ra's respects Batman but feels he limits himself, however he has an abiding love for his daughter which permits him to overlook that.

Personally I think the rot set in when we had the story where Ra's wanted Bane to wed Talia because he had defeated Batman. Prior to that Ra's wanted Batman to wed Talia because SHE loved HIM. He moved from being a concerned father to a demented Darwinian who cared nothing for his daughters feelings.
