> In June/July, DC are killing off Batman. Or rather, Bruce Wayne. Robin will inherit the Batman cowl. One of the Robins anyway. Tim Drake. Jason Todd. Or possibly Red Hood. Hey, maybe Jean-Paul Valley, it has been ten years since Azrael.
Just saw this myself. If true, I think it's ridiculous for DC to do. They've already played this card, albeit they didn't kill Batman, just broke his back, but I digress.
However, if this happens, I really, REALLY hope they don't replace him with Robin. Tim is good, but he's NOT ready to take over the mantle of Batman. I think everyone would want to see Dick as Batman, but I'd rather he not do it. Dick has always said that he never wants to replace Batman. He wants to be his own man.
The one who would make this scenario VERY intriquing would be Todd. I think Todd out of all of them, would make the most sense and interesting.GAMS Member #12

This is not a Captain America move. Remember it was done with Superman first in 1992. Now, I feel that it's a bad move for DC Comics to this. But I have been enjoying everything they are doing with the DC Universe. I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Todd took over as Batman with Bruce's and Talia's supposed son, Damian, as Robin. If I remember on an issue of Batman when Jason had barely returned, Jason mentioned something about Batman's tactics not being as effective as his. Jason as Red Hood was taking out gangs and thugs by blowing them up or killing them. I think DC has been trying to push this guy into people's minds these past three years since Jason has been back. Trust me that if it happens, Jason and Damien will be the next Batman and Robin. I don't like it.
