Interesting question. How would Batman fare in the MU? The first problem is, would all of his supporting cast come over? Would Gordon? Because Miller brought up a good point in The Dark Knight; without Gordon's help, Batman could not function in Gotham City. And another problem is if you look at Batman and Superman, their very cities are like supporting characters. Metropolis and Gotham have their own identities and because they are fictional cities the writers and artists have far more creative liscence. So I don't think Bats belongs in the MU, with is so very much NYC-centric | |||||||
