> knowing this wont make the mess that is batman RIP any better. somebody get morrison out of the batman comic please. taking obscure references and obscure characters out of DC's past WITHOUT explaning or introducing any of it properly with some sense and doing it just for the "coolness" factor takes the fun out of reading the comicbook.

Except the old stories aren't necessary, they're what's going through Batman's head as the story progresses. Are they hallucinations, real memories, warped versions of real memories? That's what we're going to find out.
>it feels like im back in school trying to do homework just to understand a story that isnt that great to begin with. if this was any other writer do you honestly think that you can say that it is a good story/comic?
There aren't many other writers I'd trust to try and make this work. Morrison is one of them. Even just taken without the psychedelic rambligns of Batman, Dr Hurt's range and scale of his plan is comprehensive and impressive (such as taking Nightwing out of the equation as completely as possible without doing any permanent damage to him)
Will it collapse in a mess? Possibly, but until the story is over, I won't presume that it will.
