i defintely enjoyed this overall. I thought that Batman waking up from the drug so quickly was kind of dumb as it led to simply Hush running around firing guns at people. All that planning and injecting children with Venom and heart stealing just to run around firing guns? The Batcave scenes were great as we saw the 66 model, the keaton model, the tumbler etc. Bringing in the big freakin dinosaur was some old school fun. I'm surprised no one dropped the big freakin penny on him. Assuming him dead in the crash is maybe a little unlikely but him actually surviving the crash and escaping unseen is also unlikely but I am glad he's alive. Dini fleshed out the character so much that it would be a shame to lose him now. The little extra bit of him killing his mom and her constantly comparing him to Bruce was a nice touch and made the Loeb story a little more believable. Hush actually having some reason to hate Bruce beyond the fact that his father saved Tommy's mother was a needed update. How much time do you suppose passed between him killing his mother and the original Hush story? I guess all of Med School now that I think about it. Also, to nitpick I am sure that a team of forensic people could distinguish from a strangle victim and someone who fell and crushed her windpipe. Again, not real believable but nothing you can't let go. Catwoman's burn at the end was great as were the little cameos of Harley the penguin slam bradley etc. Some of the book sort of brought me back to books I read as a kid in the 70's where there was a lot of adventure but it certainly had today's sensibilities as well.
Great but flawed issue but the flaws weren't enough to dilute my enjoyment.
I been likeing RIP
