...where Batman, Robin, and all the Superfriends got turned into big-footed hobbits and tooled around middle earth with Gleek the only one remembering what happened. For some reason, Hobbit-Batman really caught my eye. I think it was because he was the smartest out of the group, or because he had gadgets, but it made me really like Batman. It was that episode, the Scooby Doo Meets Batman, and the 1960s Batman series that came on TNT on Saturdays whenever we went traveling and came across hotels with Cable.
My first actual Batman book was a Curt Swan's "How to Draw DC Superheroes" where I was able to figure out how to get Batman's face and ears right.
