And all kinds of kids will watch "Saw" and "Friday The 13th" and the like because of cable and satelite. I was watching "Halloween" and "The Shining" when I was six. Seven when I saw "The Terminator". I didn't see Jason and Freddy until I was nine.

First off, you do not know me. So don't even pretend that you do. I'm messed up? What in the blue hell are you talking about? If you're joking, then fine. If you're serious, where do you get off?

Second, that's you. Not every adult agrees with your assessment. Not every child becomes a psycho killer either from watching horror at a young age. It's make believe. If your kid cannot tell the difference between real or make believe, then either you are not doing your job right or he/she's got mental problems.

There are kids who play GTA, "Mortal Kombat", "Night Trap", "Resident Evil", "Silent Hill", "Doom", "Wolfenstein" and more. There are kids who watch "Saw", "Scream", "Friday The 13th", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacare", "The Terminator", "Rambo", "Predator", "Marked For Death", "Highlander", "Goodfellas", "The Godfather" and "The Dark Knight". They watch "The X-Files", "Fringe", "Supernatural", "Gossip Girl", "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "True Blood" and "The Sorpranos". Who read the works of Stephan King, Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy and more.

You cannot stop them. You are not the parent of anyone other than your own, if you have any children. If you are a teacher, you only have authority in school. Beyond that, you have none. If you are a religious figure, then you have some say, but not total. I guarantee that if you were to try to slap the controller for my video game console or a copy of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" or "IT" out of my hand, when I was a minor, then you and I would have words. Any younger than 15 and it would've been my parents. And if you were to slap any parent, I guarantee that it would be in your best interest to pack a lunch. So think carefully if or when you find out that a parent lets their kid play or watch or read something with violent content in it.

Here endth the lesson.
