Previous Post 1) We all know Batman was sent back in time in FC by Darkseid. So....how did Superman have a body to carry? 2) If Batman isn't dead how did Nekron bring him back as a Black Lantern? Just wondering...........

1.) Darkseid's Omega Sanction (as opposed, apparently, to the Omega Effect Darkseid ALSO uses) traps a target in a series of alternate lives, as was established in the Mr. Miracle SSOV miniseries by Grant Morrison. So, basically, it created a fried version of Batman while entrapping him mind and soul in another life.

2.) Each life still leaves a dead body that could be risen this way, of course, but it's my recollection that Hand and Nekron both used quotation marks when telling him to rise, implying that they know it's not the real Bruce Wayne or Batman.
