Maaay have enjoyed it ifff it had been a self-contained Xmas issue.
Beautiful wasted cover. Okay, maybe this poser shot verifies Manhunter is inside but it seems kind of shameless promotion that Batman and Robin also usurp her ALSO FEATURING blurb.
Its stretching the limits that a master assassin barely a teenager and owner of a private island would cry like a baby at the sight of some dead kids? Isnt he supposed to be a seasoned killer. Even though the mood swing may be age appropriate for a kid less than about 13yrs old[?] - it doesnt help, or jibe with, his seasoned tough guy image to date, right? Dick may see a hidden wimp side in Damien now after the puking too.
Lots of this Humpty guy and Mr Abuse Knuckles - but they did not hold my interest proportionately to their panel time.
Really liked the snow-in-the-panels visuals.
Was that an authentic and obscure Christmas carol that served as script for THREE pages?!
Manhunter was boring and Two-Face felt generic.
Did you like it or would you rather have some figgy pudding?

Damien has been taught to kill, quickly, efficiently and for a reason, a poor reason (money) but a reason. These children weren't combatants, reasonable targets or the like, nor were they just killed, they were tormented, abused, made to injure each other, and then Humpty tried to put their dead body parts together, but would probably have turned them into something grotesque and sick.
That's warped piled upon warped, and that SHOULD get to someone, even someone like Damien.
Plus it helps suggest that Dick and Alfred are actually having an influence on the kid, he simple can't view innocents as wastes of space anymore.
