i just read some of 'war games' i think it was, and in that story arc batman is on the news and people are surprised to find out he's not just an urban legend, but in dc universe legacies the narrator says that everyone saw bane defeat batman, and didn't that happen before war games? so how did batman go from being known to the public to an urban legend?

Back around 1995, a mini-series called Zero Hour crossed over most of DC's titles. Batman was changed the most in that he and Robin were never captured on film for almost ten years, and the general public didn't know if they were real or not.

Now, while that may have worked for the FIRST year, I found that stretched things too far in this case. Mainly because it changed Tim Drake's origin, and DC still hasn't given us the new, updated version yet.

I know I'm being nit-picky, but I can't help it. ;\)
