Quinn and Otomo deliver well presented monthly Batgirl respect again. Probably liked the first half similar to Otomo and the second half to Quinn. Seriously. It was a decent ish right up to the inappropriate "'TEAM' BATGIRL MY ASS" and then it went a little south. Inappropriate, not for the word, but for Steph not accepting Babs as a devoted partner. Y'know if she actually said the words out loud - sarcastically - instead of feeling(thinking) them it would have been a GOOD line.

Did like the "RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME" line though.

Agreed! That is partially the reason that the part "TWO OF TWO" line on the otherwise effective title page felt off base. If they wanted to package the story it really needed more wrap up becasue these Reapers seem so lame to get away, let alone become repeat offenders. Considering the whole network of Gotham heroes that could team up to bust 'em up - one of these cloaked kooks would have to transform into some monster, say BATGOR, to make one of 'em Batrogue-worthy.

Blink design was visually cool. Lets hope the speed effect will prove as entertaining as a good Flash visual[ala Perez? Infantino? Kolins?]. The radiation leak side effect flaw adds more believability while at the same time detracts from the ridiculous awesomeness of Bruce's Insider-Suit with its superspeed that he for no good reason AFAIK. But that his problem not Batgirl's. It should be fun to see her narration in regards to superspeed - heck maybe she will even take the Blink-Suit for a spin!

Anyways, even an ridiculously average ish of BG is more fun than the other Battitles recently. Looking forward to the fun next issue where hopefully she tells Robin where he can go.
