So, I own, and have read every single Batman, Detective comic from 1986 to about 2008 and had to take a break. I am getting back into Batman books but I am astonished at the vast ammounts of Bat books.

Being a Bruce fan, I will be getting Inc and Dark Kight for sure, but what about the other books? I am a compeltist and want to know everything happening in Gotham but if I skip out on Batman & Robin, Red Robin, etc. will I be missing out on much?

Money is no object for my pull list.

I have no idea. They're publishing so many bat-books now it's really hard to keep up with every single one, and i know some of these "ongoing" series will be going away within a year or two, because there's not that much demand for Batman.

That said, I've dropped every book but Batgirl now. I know there's other good ones, but I'm finding it hard to care about Bruce, Dick, Tim and Damien as characters at the moment. Kinda my little protest in hopes they scale back to something more managable.

Unfortunately, I think people will buy more books with Batman proper and start to ditch books like Batgirl/BoP tertiary books first. :/
