I think the problem I had is reading the issues as they come out or in 2 to 3 issues binges. Since DC doesn't do that first page recap, I'm often lost since Morrison isn't a traditional storyteller. Now, I'm all for that, I love foreign films and some avante garde stuff. Just like my super heroes more straight forward.

...How come DC doesn't do that? There appears to be some mixed feelings from the most hardcore OLD ( as in... they love it when every box is coloured cadmium-yellow..) old-school Marvel-fans, about them.

But I do think they help, especially if you miss an issue here or there.

Definitely something DC should consider taking up as well, IMHO. It wouldn't have to be across the board either, just on books where the storyline is very deep, and has many twists and turns.
