Maybe they'll toss in a bit of the Batman Begins origin that could tidy it up. Bruce Wayne trains a bit with Ra's al Ghul like in the movie, meets Talia while he's training, they begin a relationship, then Bruce learns the truth about Ra's and all that, escaping before Talia learns she's pregnant. Then he maybe continues to travel and train for a few more years before returning to Gotham and becoming Batman, blah blah blah, Damian's now 10, blah blah, becomes Robin. The End. Just a thought.

Didn't Morrison hint that Damien's age had been artificially accelerated in an issue of Batman and Robin?

And I was under the impression that Damien was conceived during/after the famous O'Neil/Adams tale of Batman vs. Ra's al Ghul in the Sahara (Batman #244). At least that's how it appeared in a flashback scene in one of the Morrison/Kubert Batman issues.

(From what I've gathered over the years, Son of the Demon is considered an early Elseworlds tale. And a child secretly given up for adoption wouldn't make much sense as Damien anyway.)

Of course this could all be moot. Who knows what's going to be changed for the reboot...
