So, Quinn...is this the last we're gonna hear from you? In addition to Batgirl being wonderful, you're one of the smartest people I've seen on the internet. That would be doubly sad.

Wow, thanks. With praise like that, I'll have to stick around. But the problem with rebooting everything is that it's expensive for a reader. Do I Byrne steal stuff to find out what I like. If I don't like the first issue, how long do I stick with something? Getting rid of continuity make save a character by making that character someone with no bad history (by that I mean even the best writer gets a bad idea published, so even the best books have badly written continuity to deal with).

I mean I can remember being 11 years old and thinking Green Arrow was loser. His ward was a junkie and Queen lost his millions. He treated his girlfriend badly and he was free with his opinions (only I'm allowed to do that), putting everyone down with his "liberal" rants. What a jerk. Now there's going to be a "new" Green Arrow. I may hate Ollie's past, but it's OLLIE'S past. Without it, he's just another guy with a gimmick.

This reboot presents an expensive conundrum to me. But it does give me a chance to see how well they rebooted. I have my doubts, but we'll see.

Or I could be wrong.
