Hmmmmmm, wasn't very nice seeing Bruce's double standards in this issue.
Damien basically murders Nobody in cold blood in front of him and Bruce goes on to ignore the fact.
I understand that Damien is his son but the kid straight up murdered someone and Bruce knows that he has psychopathic tendencies.
But all he does is give his son a pep talk about how Nobody's murder will likely stay with his son and that he needs to work on being a better person.
I mean WTF!!!!!!!! Batman has always had a zero tolerance policy when it comes to killing. A yet his 10 year old son murders someone in front of him, they have a little chat about it and then carry on as normal.

Boy, wonder where this is going...
This was either disgusting or disturbing handling of Batman's aftermath reaction. Haven't decided yet. It depends whether/how Bruce rationalizes and/or justifies the outrageous hypocrisy of giving a mere 'pep talk' to his son, for killing a criminal, instead of a trial. And it depends if this balancing of justice happens NEXT ISSUE or not. It better. Bruce's decision may just be attempt at a shocking start to a character-defining, dark (night) secret - similar to the one where Superman killed those Phantom Zoners in Byrne's post-COIE revamp; but if that's the case (or not), the not-so-tough love Damian got here was a disappointing read because of that 'double standard' you note.
