Previous Post They're doing something different with this latest series of Batman movies. They're trying to make Batman as realistic as possible (eg. no Bat-rope swinging/climbing, no weird poisons from Joker, no Robin, and more). Catwoman's a cat-burglar, and that's how she gets her name, I imagine. Her goggles, when resting on top of her head, look like the cat-ears from the 1960's Batman TV show. I disagree with this approach, as you do. I wish they'd bring back more of the fantasy elements of the Batman mythos, and just have a lotta fun with it!

Let's have Batman be fun again. I'm most of the way through the latest Showcase Presents Batman. Never read the crazy "Paul is Dead" homage in issue 222 before. There's a great write up here:
