Previous Post Not really a great episode. When Alfred's friend turned up the day after Bruce met with the Board, Alfred should have been much more suspicious. I certainly was. Selina really gave it to Barbara. That was great. I feel bad for Fish, having to take out her own eye isn't much of a victory. The Red Hood plot was kind of a let down. It makes the Joker less interesting if anyone can act like him. The Penguin/Butch storyline was only vaguely interesting. I think that was it. PPP

If memory servers, in the Killing Joke I think it was shown that the man who would be Joker was abducted by the Red Hood gang and forced to suit up as the Red Hood with the premise being that RH is the gang boss when it is really gang calling the shots.

So the show could go that route.


Also there is something to be said about the power that one can feel from wearing as mask that conceals their identity. It enables one to let themselves go and act differently.

Red Hood 2 and 3 only acted crazy to emulate Red Hood 1 at the first bank job and to act like a Robin Hood to the citizens.

That does not mean that future Red Hood wearers will do the same. For all we know the red Hood that becomes Joker in the next 10 years or so will be a bit crazy but more calculating and ruthless then after the chemical bath he goes bonkers.
