Reply Subj: Re: Do you think that Tim Burton, Michael Keaton & Danny Elfman could make a 3rd Batman movie or is it improbable ? Posted: Thu Feb 07, 2019 at 08:24:56 pm EST (Viewed 246 times)
Quote: It's not likely, but nothing is impossible. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but for me, my personal preference would be to make a Batman movie that actually takes place in 1939. It would be styled after the original Bob Kane comics.I had a similar desire for a Green Hornet movie. Green Hornet Year One by Matt Wagner & Aaron Campbell is like a perfect storyboard for a movie. ![]() https://bookhound.wordpress.com/2010/03/26/green-hornet-year-one-1-by-matt-wagner-and-aaron-campbell/ On the contrary, I am not a fan of Kevin Smith's run ... and I didn't like either the 2011 movie. Usually, I like Michel Gondry but, in this case, the main roles were miscat (Seth Rogen & Jay Chou) and I didn't like the humour of the film. IMO, it is impossible to imagine a modern superhero movie which would match the quality of the 1960s TV series because Bruce Lee is an icon in his own right. So, it would be better to go in a different direction.
