1. As many of you have already stated, there will likely be a battle for the Cap mantle. Punisher v. Bucky most likely. This will be interesting for a while but will not last more than a few months. Eventually, somebody else will assume the mantle but...

2. Do not expect it to last long. Take a look at Marvel.com and read the Daily Bugle story. There's only one confirmed sniper shot to Cap's shoulder. That would not kill him. This was all part of a plan to get Cap underground. Look for Fury to be behind this. Steve is alive and well and biding his time.

Sharon plugged him multiple times in the breadbasket, though, under some kind of hypnotic influence. So he's pretty damn hurt. But not dead...*sigh*...I've cited the missing handcuff clue so many times it's getting old, LOL. It's on him when he's still alive on the gurney -- but it's missing on the body of "Steve Rogers" that's on the last page. And they take pains to show us close-ups in each case. D'oh!
