I have heard this over and over and over in regards to Caps death. "He was irrelevant so they had to kill him off." or some variant of the idea.

What does that even mean? Why would Iron Man be "relevant" but Captain American not be? That does not even make sense.

Could someone enlighten this 29 year old Neanderthal?

I've heard the news say that. I think it's quite a sad statement if anybody would ever say that standing for truth, justice, hope, leadership by example, brotherly love, and everything else that Cap stands for, is "irrelevant". I have much more faith in the American people than that.
