Cap was shot to death by HYDRA in front of witnesses who saw him get shot-in Cap v1 #111. Had a big funeral where his friends/heroes attended in Cap v1 #113.-note(They never found Cap's body in the river and as he re-appeared later on.)

Punisher killed Captain America at the Lincoln memorial, Frank used a sniper rifle. Had a big funeral where people talked about his great importance. Punisher and Captain America Blood and Glory 1.-note(Cap was hurt badly but survived and decided to trick everyone in thinking Steve Rogers is dead so no one besides a few Shield personal know his Identity under the mask)

Again Cap died when his body died of the virus that is the SSS. Had a big funeral where people talked about his great importance-Cap vol 1 #443-(Note before he died troops stole his body and put it under Ice and cured Captain America)

Another time in a big explosion blown up by a collection of Red Skull followers. Big funeral as well in Cap vol 3 #50-(Note never explained how he survived)

Again Cap was shot in the head by a random thug. The Doc pronounced Cap dead, immediately after being pronounced Cap got up and healed in Captain America and the Falcon #13.


In the IG incident a lot of characters died as well besides Cap which is not a stand alone death like the ones above.

Also in a Avengers vol 1 #177 I believe Korvac killed Captain America.

In Thor v2#73 King Thor kills Captain America along with Hulk/Thing/Dr.Strange again not a big stand-alone death.

Also not sure, but I think Cap died in Infinity War when the Earth was destroyed by the Sun going super-nova along with everyone else IIRC???????
