Yeah if Marvel isn't planning on something DIFFERENT from the dismal crap that's going on now then all is certainly lost... It was a wonderful 45 years Marvel... THANKS!

If Marvel ever does greatness again I think this would be the top-shelf Avengers team...

1) Captain America
2) Iron Man
3) Thor
4) Spider-man
5) The Black Panther
6) Ms. Marvel
7) The Vision

Good mix: four top-shelf heroes, a continually rising ultra-powerful FEMALE superstar, the first BLACK superhero EVER and the Avengers stalwart figurehead resident hero. I remember reading some old Avengers comics that featured Cap, Spidey, Thor, Shellhead and the Panther going to charity events together and such... As if THOSE guys were the big guns... The People's Choices and all that... I think that's appropriate.

The Hulk and Wolverine can be super-stars (and they always will be) but not in the Avengers "superhero" sense. They can exist within other frameworks.

Anyway, the "Magnificent Seven" will probably never happen... Like I said it was a great 45 years Marvel... Too bad it's over! A toast!

It would be, but I'm not talkin' top-shelf, I'd like to see the originals together...and just for a short time. I don't think they could maintain that camaraderie, not after all that's gone down, so it'd have to be a compelling (and temporary) threat that brings them together. And, frankly, I'd really like to see Hank back in harness as Goliath or Giant-Man, even for a short while.
