> Haven't read Cap 25 yet, and am avoiding the articles as best as can but with Clor (Thors clone) in Civil War, is it possible that the Steve Rogers shot dead was actually a clone???

In reading it, I noticed a clue...when Cap is loaded onto a gurney, taken to the emergency ward, he's got a handcuff still cinched around his right hand. When his "corpse" is later seen, that hand is shown in exaggerated close-up...and the cuff is missing.

If you've ever seen an artist (like my Dad, or the guys I sometimes hire) do continuity illustrations, they constantly check and recheck to make sure of consistency between pages or images they may've worked on days or weeks apart. I see no reason for a gaffe like losing this handcuff...unless it's a conscious decision. Either, "I'll just get rid of it, I like it better without," or, "gotta make sure the cuff is missing, because that staring corpse on the gurney is a clone."

As much as I don't care for the clones, I'm hoping you're right about this. With the autopsy coming up, my idea of an LMD doesn't work.
