Such technical aspects don't need 100% accuracy. The pic looks much cooler with him running and finger on the trigger.

> Soldiers and police officers carry guns all the time. They have to. But they don't run charging forward with a pistol aimed blindly and their fingers on the trigger. That is no way for a professionally trained soldier or officer to act.

> First off, whenever the gun is out, the index finger should be extended. No matter how well trained (or brainwashed) a person may be, accidents can happen. To avoid that, proper training suggests they keep their fingers off the trigger until they actually plan to fire.

> Second, running with a handgun is kind of silly. Even if you were Hawkeye, handguns are meant for short range defense or aimed offense, not shotting wildly while running. An assault rifle, maybe. That's why those types of guns were invented, but a handgun? It just looks sloppy.

I dunno. To me it's a lot cooler to see Wolverine carry a katana like a samurai than it would be to see him swing it around like a claymore.

A little accuracy helps increase the appreciation of a comic book. I don't expect it to be true to life.. if I did, it'd be hard to get past the four-color costumes and small-yet-identity-consealing masks. Likewise, I wouldn't expect a cartoony comic, like say Sonic the Hedgehog, to have a remotely accurate depiction of the world, but a comic that presents itself as being grounded in reality, like say Captain America, should have a little more attention to detail.

Does this make me not want to buy or read the comic? Of course not. Is it reason enough to dislike the new look? Heck no.

I'm just sayin' a little more attention to detail would be nice.
