Reply Subj: Looks like Superman will have an "out" in his upcoming fight with Atlas.

according to the legends of Atlas, he is the one who holds the heavens and all the stars therein on his shoulders. Hercules briefly held all of that and gave him a break, but Hercules couldn't hold it for long because the burden was too great and the stars and heavens were shaking too much and Atlas re-shouldered the burden accordingly, so as not to anger Zeus.

Superman's greatest strength feat has NEVER come close to matching something like that, so it's reasonable to presume that if he stands there like a doofus and exchanges blow for blow with an obviously more physically powerful individual, he will be the one feeling the damage more.

Superman is acting like his typical, over-confident, brick-self again. Standing there taking blow for blow when he shouldn't. He should use his other powers, fly around, do everything else BUT stand there and take it on the chin. Sheesh. When is DC gonna start writing Superman like he's capable of fighting. Superspeed blitzing, flying around, using his head for thinking purposes instead of as a punching bag. He keeps this up and he DESERVES to lose.

> Mostly for Maestro because I knew he was waiting for this issue... ;\-\) But it does look like something is affecting Supes in this fight which will tip this away from being a straight up win for Atlas.
