Spider-Man makes it a good game and Wonder Man would probably just get in his way, though he'd be handy for serving I guess.
> > First off, that's Wonder Woman on Spidey's team, not WonderMAN. Second, as I imagined it, J'onn would only be able to use pysical abitilies, (no shapehifting, invisibiltiy, intangibility, or telepathy; just strength and speed)

> Oops! I glanced at that as Wonder Man. \:\) Even without the invisibility, I'd count shapeshifting as a physical ability personally; Spidey can jump around fast, J'onn can stretch his arms. Wonder Woman makes it a tougher match as she's got great speed for sure though...Ms Marvel is the weak link here (we are talking Warbird, aren't we?) as she doesn't have enhanced footspeed or reflexes (or are you allowing flight?), so if J'onn can't shapeshift then Spidey's team wins due to handicapping. \:\)

Yeah, I wasn't thinking of flight when I made up the post. I was thinking that for both contests, the players could only use the abilities that actual players would use in a game. So no flight, no energy projection, no telepathy, no shapeshifting, etc. Just speed, strength, co-ordination, and whatever actual players use. (Even if some of those abilities were at a superhuman level.) True Martian Manhunter could stretch himself to cover the playing area so the ball wouldn't hit the ground, Spidey could also the same with webbing, in my senario it doesn't allow for either.
And with that in mind, Carol can be Warbird or Binary levels, I don't think it matters as far a this post is concerned.

Thing and Hulk would need an oversized ball to be able to really handle the thing, but Cap's team has no hope of being able to block the other guys out in the paint; running a pick would be suicide. If the referee is tight on the fouls, then Cap's team can take it. Otherwise they're paste.

And running and passing would go much smoother for the team so much lighter on their feet. Also, if anyone happened to destroy the ball, it would count as a foul.

Hold on, the basket is 10 feet high. Which of the bricks are taller than that?
