Hercules briefly held all of that and gave him a break, but Hercules couldn't hold it for long because the burden was too great and the stars and heavens were shaking too much and Atlas re-shouldered the burden accordingly, so as not to anger Zeus.

We might know soon enough. Some preview pages of the upcoming Hercules arc already show Atlas and Hercules doing what it seems to be, holding the sky...either that or a weird coreagraphy dance \:\)

He should use his other powers, fly around, do everything else BUT stand there and take it on the chin. Sheesh. When is DC gonna start writing Superman like he's capable of fighting. Superspeed blitzing, flying around, using his head for thinking purposes instead of as a punching bag. He keeps this up and he DESERVES to lose.

> While I agree with you to some extend I admit I also find superman being physically challenged so often to be mentally chalenging and plainly unbeleivable. 99% of the time he shoudn't need to do to anything and could easily aford to play big dumb brick. These day I think it's faster to come up with who is not superman level than who is... and that's VERY wrong...VERY.
