Reply Subj: So what was he holding his breath then? Obviously, there was some advantage gained.

> You guys are trying to apply factors that don't exist. I didn't say he would die instantly, I said he would die. Kurse WOULD NOT die due to being in space. That's all I am saying and nothing more.

The reason I know I would die without air is because other people have died without air and we now understand why the body needs oxygen etc and I am no different in that regard.
The Hulk is very different in that there arent a lot of other Hulks who have died from lack of air to clearly establish his limitations. The Hulk has always assumed he needed to breathe it seems or at least have some air in his lungs.
We know that he can go for a very long time holding his breath or essentially on very little air at all without any change in his performance. How long? Handbooks give us "a few hours", writers have had the Hulk say much the same thing - but how does he actually know that? The Hulk recently adapted to breathing water and didnt even notice it until after. The Red Hulk has been around for even less time, is more powerful and to my knowledge hasnt been shown as passing out from lack of oxygen. So yeah we dont know that he would pass out or even die from lack of oxygen. Hell the original Abomination didnt die after prolonged lack of oxygen but went into suspended animation.
