Quote: Item: Resurrected Javi's Sigil (ligis) From Negation. I'll add some scans later. Basically he could drain any Non-kinetic Energy (psionic, magic, and energy attacks). He could then use this energy to increase the powers of other Sigil bearers (useless in this tourney) and give himself signifigant regeneration abilities. Requires touch. I will post some scans tonight. I could not find any links. If only crossgen hadn't gone out of business.
Quote: After rereading it i guess Javi could send out tendrils to drain power, but this only seems to work after draining a magical and psionic herald level being of great power, which he had to touch to drain.

While I am in agreement with most posters that putting Hercules in charge of the amalgam may not have been the best move, against Arcanix it might actually win him the day.
Neither character has a speed advantage (due to the MGH boosting Northstar's speed), and the scans Arcanix provided show that energy attacks are absorbed by the Sigil. While Alan Scott would lead with an energy attack, Hercules is a lot more likely to get physical (and as the scans showed, the Sigil doesn't absorb physical attacks).
The regeneration of the Sigil and stretchiness of Plastic Man will certainly make this a long fight, but Hercules is the superior physical specimen here. It could also be argued that the willpower of Alan Scott would be able to resist the energy drain of the Sigil (and since Herc gets Alan's full powerset he'd need the willpower necessary to utilize the Starheart's energy).

He doesn't have Alan's willpower anyway does he? I would think he would have Hercules, which isn't to shabby.
