Oculporate

Stargod of the North

H- Sentinel GL, Alan Scott
PM- Hercules(with Mace), Marvel, (Mind)
EM- Northstar
Item- A dose of MGH to amp up Northstars Mutant Powers.

vs

Arcanix

Emperor Zoom!

Herald: Zoom II (powers)
PM: Plastic Man (body)
EM: Emperor Palpatine (mind and lightsaber)

Item: Resurrected Javi's Sigil (ligis) From Negation. I'll add some scans later. Basically he could drain any Non-kinetic Energy (psionic, magic, and energy attacks). He could then use this energy to increase the powers of other Sigil bearers (useless in this tourney) and give himself signifigant regeneration abilities. Requires touch. I will post some scans tonight. I could not find any links. If only crossgen hadn't gone out of business.

After rereading it i guess Javi could send out tendrils to drain power, but this only seems to work after draining a magical and psionic herald level being of great power, which he had to touch to drain.

Stargod of the North's got the strength and melee combat skills, plus a polyvalent item. Emperor Zoom's got an un-killeable form, an energy manipulating item and a nasty weapon.

In the first phase of the battle, the Emperor strike a few points; He gets to get stronger as the Stargod tries a few ranged attacks, and as a result gets drained.

But it's Herc in the pilot seat; True nature will shortly prevail, and the Stargod will soon bring it up close the the Emperor, using the Green Lantern as a defense against the Sigil (which is plausible, given its source), hoping there will be some left for against the lightsaber.

And there, Stargod sure can feel the lightsaber, a weapon with which physical strength does not matter when it strikes, but being tougher than your generic SW character, and probably shielded (it looks like only a minimum is required to block a lightsaber), so he won't die the few times he is hit.

Because the Emperor sure kick arse at lightsaber combat, but once Stargod is on him, it's rumble time. And at that, Herc is crafty, and wild. But once again the Plastic Man's body is pretty much the only thing this side of the Hulk that can take it.

I say the Emperor wins out of sheer nastiness, if for nothing else.
