First Los states his EM in the Ben 10 Character, absorbing UBER weapons (and their magical properties) I dont know if there is a precident for this in the show but I doubt it. But not absorbing one UBER thmaterial but three uber materials? I think that is sort of Herald material like Absorbing man.
 
Also Psi is not the only attack that Mag-X brings to the table. He has magic that there is no defense on Los fighter and the bands to sap energy from Los.
