It's not just Wolverine. I don't think his healing on it's own would be enough to completely purge the T-O like Deadpool's did. The stack of Wolverine + the High though.... yeah, I don't see any reason that shouldn't.

At worst, even if it didn't completely purge the virus on it's own it would free up a vast amount of Cable's TK and we saw that given the chance Cable had the skill and expertise to manually remove the virus from his system (Cable #100 or thereabouts, I forget the exact issue).

Well.... there's no contrary evidence. It's not like he got an uber uber healing factor and didn't purge the virus in a different story-line \:\-\)
