Because if its Morg's body why would water add to his strength? To get that advantage wouldn't it have to be Atlantean biology?

The Bodies are simply amalgamated, gaining the powers and the weaknesses of all elements.

In this case, the said body is revived by water, and sensible to heat, althought the Power Cosmic somehow negates that weakness, IMO. If the power cosmic is somehow turned off, Namorg becomes as sensible to heat - and pollution, btw - as Namor ever was.
