I remember this debate coming up years ago and i dont think Sentry really makes contact with the edge of the blade at all. The guy has the speed to grab them wherever he wants and he exerts contact on the flat of the blade. I dont think you could definitively say either way but based on the historical efficacy of the blades I think there is good reason to think Sentry avoided most if not all contact with the edge of the blade.

I am looking at the comic book! He is touching the blades in several places. Geez, I'd think people would give people more credit of doubt than this, instead of putting some shady memory over a guy actually looking at a comic book.

I dont think Sentry and Superman have hard durability an order of magnitude above someone like Thor or Hulk and Logan has a history of cutting through things he shouldnt like steel walls and concrete.

Sentry and Superman seems to have a "hard durability" of sorts. It takes a while before they start to bleed etc. Superman has the bio-field thing that needs to be reduced first. I assume that with Sentry its all just mental.

Thor is very very durable, but that is his natural physiology. So he gets cuts faster than Superman, but he is arguably able to hang in there for longer because he doesnt have a bio-field that gets depleted over time, his resistance stays constant.

Hulk has IMO a durability slightly less than Thor, but when his rage increases, his healing power and durability increases, turning him into a behemoth of an opponent.
