According to a recent X-men: First Class issue Karnaks abilities aren't due to Terrigen exposure, they're just skill.

Is this a cast-iron example of a retcon or is it compatable to continuity? If he can sense structural weaknesses just by intuition and exploit them to such effect is it a gimmick The Mandain for example could mimic? \(coffee\)

It is Karnak's genuine power. His martal arts training just helped him discover it. To my knowledge, there are no other Kung Fu Inhumans, with Karnaks ability. Also how many untreated inhumans have such a huge heads like him?

Some Inhumans are actually born with superpowers, which makes them more like mutants. Karnak obviously belongs to them.
