The problem is that there are only a few Asgardians that are more than skilled bricks. That won't get you far against an army of villains with diverse powers. Sure, they should be able to take an army of less skilled bricks, but what is Volstagg going to do against Vapor or Controller? Purple Man alone could rule Asgard.

The problem with Spider-Man is he combines agility and his spider-sense with his other powers to make himself very dangerous.

The Asgardians should be harder to hurt them him if you factor in the armor alone is designed to protect them and the force of their weapons.

Asgardians are supposed to be immune to disease, gas, radiation, etc. Most superpowered beings have a couple of powers, but are physically not that tough. If the likes of Captain America, Daredevil, and Wolverine can hang with most being and do well so should most Asgardians who are supposed to be skilled warriors with physical abilities above these guys.'s not as if a bunch of characters, some barely above street, would be taking on 100 000 superman-like beings and actually look good after having said Superman was the most powerful being on earth. Osborn at least has numbers going for him and a good deal of his army is more than powerful enough to tackle some generic 30 tonners. And that's not even taking Sentry into the equation the way he should. If you guys want to scream outrage take a number...
