      The point is that Aquaman does not further his objection, and countering Bk's assertion, Aquaman certainly does not scoff.

    On the other hand, Aquaman did not actually agree with Thor about the the latter's view on their next fight. Aquaman was pretty skeptical of Thor's description of their respective team's assets. Aquaman also believed that the Avengers as a whole were less powerful and less supported by the public than his own team.

What does the public's stance have to do with anything? And of course Aquaman is skeptical. He's not going to devalue his own team over a bunch of strangers.
