Thor, Hercules, Wonder Woman all are renowned for their fighting skills. Thor is probably the least skilled in hand-to-hand combat among that bunch. Per his own admission, he said of Hercules "in the art of hand-to-hand combat...he is slightly my better. He is Hercules, after all."

But can they compare to the best mortal hand-to-hand fighters? They have thousands of years experience, which should count for a lot. But maybe they haven't studied the various martial arts...

Without powers, how would you rank the following in hand-to-hand combat?

Wonder Woman
Hercules
Thor
Captain America
Black Panther
Shang Chi
Wolverine
Stick
Batman
Katana
Deathstroke
Lady Shiva
Black Canary

I mean it is sometimes hard to say for me. Partly because when they are depowered, or have been, their skills have been a bit more random than they should be. And when they are full powered it is hard to tell the difference with all of their power.

Many times skill and prowess are sort of mixed as well or how good they are in a fight in the first place.

IMO, they should be as good or better than mortal guys, but in reality it is rarely shown that way. Maybe because those characters have to rely on it to live and the godly characters usually do not need to hone it quite as much with their other gifts?

But Marvel in particular loves to exalt its lower tier guys. Often at the detriment of more powerful ones.
