These are some of cosmic phenomenom/theory that the surfer should be manipulating in a good SS story:

Sounded like nothing more than young earth creationist propaganda to me. Not sure how it fits with SS. He can manipulate time and spce and the like but there are better lectures on youtube than that. Just saying. Not to insult anyone's faith but I always found it distasteful that some religous groups go around peddlng this sort of thing. The only scientists who do work with them have degrees in things other than science or they horrible manipulate the data and bend it to the point it is illogical and pointless. Sort of a major offtopic rant on my part. But as a scientist I just find it distastful that some in society consider this sort of thing a meaningful alternative to what science has discovered. Like science is in competition with religon. They each fulfill very different roles.

ok, sticking strictly to the physics, I thought the lecturer raised some extremly interesting subjects.

(1) speed of light is not constant
(2) time has a finite divisability, ie there is a limit to the units in which time can be measured
(3) matter has finite divisability, there are only a certain amount of sub atmmic particles, if you get smaller than that then u have universal locality.

These kind of things should be somehow brought in to a SS story line since he is a cosmic character and spends most of his time in space.
