I loved the last Nova series, but have never enjoyed anyhing written by Loeb. Can anyone tell me what he's done that should change my mind? I don't mean that to sound obnoxious....I really want to know if I've missed something good by Loeb, because I want to give Nova a shot, but won't based on what I've seen from him before.

The Long Hallowe'en and Spider-Man: Blue are two of his projects that are very well renowned; I've read Blue but have not read Long Hallowe'en. For more recent work, I thought his Fallen Son #3 (part of a 5 part story) was absolutely brilliant, as it explored the only character outside of Bucky that I would have been okay with taking over for Steve Rogers as Captain America; Hawkeye.

I also enjoyed "The Supergirl from Krypton" story arc in Superman/Batman, though part of that I'm sure is due to the art by Michael Turner.

With all that being said though, he hasn't done anything recently that I've wanted to read; I've seen enough scans of his Hulk run with McGuinnes that horrified me, and I got the first battle between Red Hulk and Thor as a giveaway at a comic convention. I wasn't very impressed.

If Nova was coming back written by DNA, I would be on it in a heartbeat, albeit in the collected format as that is how I collect all of the cosmic titles. I've got them all in hardcover (other than Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2, still have to track that down) except Nova, which is in softcover, as I'm not sure if the whole Nova run was collected in hardcover.
