As we know there is a multiverse.

Logos the current ultimate abstract says that the Celestials were really multiversial beings, a gardener of life in universes.

Galactus can be as powerful than a celestial (in FF we saw a great battle between Galactus and four celestials) but he is by nature an universal being. We saw also multiple Galactuses in various universes (ex GalaKtus in Ultimate universe, all the Galactuses that Abraxas killed, the Galactus weapon of the life universe or even the Galactus that the zombies ate)

Yet in Ultimates 4 Logos speak to Galactus as he is the unique Galactus, an unique being. It seems strange to me

    Quote:
I think it comes down to how the new multiverse works (and I think there is even some question as to whether it should be classified as such by Molecule Man). In the old multiverse every timeline was more or less as important as every other timeline.

    Quote:
This is seemingly not the case in this 8th iteration of the multiverse. The main earth in the comics is the main earth in the multiverse and thus this Galactus is from the main timeline that got cobbled together from Secret Wars. Every other timeline is artificial or whatever and created by Franklin Richards or something else. So in the new multiverse I would say this lifebringer Galactus is the main Galactus and is more important than every other Galactus. Pre-Secret Wars I would say he's no more important than any other version of himself in the Multiverse.

    Quote:
So far they haven't pulled the stunt they did with Eternity and revealed that there is a Multiversal Galactus. They could probably still go in that direction...everything is up for grabs in the new Multiverse. I think for now they're just saying our Galactus is just the most important Galactus in the Multiverse not that there is only one Galactus.

    Quote:
I much preferred the old Multiverse where the 616 timeline was no more or less important than every other timeline. Now the 616'ers have a big head and think they're special.

The thing that is a bit confusing is Eternity is referred to more multiversally, the chained one, than a universal entity.
